What is KIIP?

KIIP is a platform that supports professional trademark work. Its focus is AI-assisted assessment of trademark conflicts and an overview of the portfolios you manage.

Who is KIIP for?

The service is intended exclusively for lawyers, law firms and professional legal and IP departments acting in their professional or business capacity. It is not intended for consumers.

Which types of trademarks are in focus?

The use case described here is the assessment of conflicts between word marks. The appropriate scope depends on your portfolio and the features available at the time.

Does KIIP replace legal review?

KIIP provides assistance with your work. AI-generated assessments may be incorrect or incomplete and must be professionally checked against the relevant sources and circumstances of the individual case. The responsible legal professionals decide on oppositions or other action.

What needs to be clarified before use?

Before processing client matter data, the scope of services, access permissions, confidentiality and data protection must be addressed contractually and organisationally. Depending on the use case, this includes data processing arrangements, subcontractors and professional requirements for external service providers. This website does not give an assurance of suitability for specific confidential data.

Does KIIP manage deadlines or procedural steps?

The assessments presented here do not imply that KIIP takes over deadline monitoring, register monitoring or procedural actions. Available features and services are determined by the applicable service agreement.

Are the figures measured results?

No. The calculator and working-day comparison illustrate hypothetical assumptions. The preset values are neither a forecast nor evidence of any particular KIIP performance. They do not promise time savings, cost reductions or a particular legal outcome.
