2. Visiting the website

When you visit a website, your IP address and information about the requested page are transmitted to the infrastructure serving it. Depending on the server configuration, access logs may also process the time of access, browser information, operating system and referrer. The purpose is to deliver the website and protect it against disruption and misuse.

Article 6(1)(f) GDPR may provide the legal basis for the necessary delivery and security of the website. The legitimate interest is the secure and functional operation of the information service. Technical transmission of the IP address is necessary to deliver the website.

The administrative tasks and data access undertaken by Blackwell, and the data protection agreements required, must still be clarified before publication.

3. Cookies, language and embedded content

The page content we created uses no analytics or advertising scripts, embedded maps, externally loaded fonts or social media plugins. The language is selected through the page address; the page code does not store cookies or a language preference in local browser storage.

This statement concerns the page code. Any additional storage or access performed by the hosting and access infrastructure must be assessed separately for final publication.

If non-essential cookies, tracking or external embeds are introduced later, the required information and, where applicable, valid consent must be provided before activation.

Interactive examples

The scenario calculator processes only the entered numbers in the browser. The website does not transmit these inputs to KIIP or other recipients and does not save them in cookies or local browser storage. The same applies to selections in the perspective and example views. The website code contains no contact, booking or upload form.

This information website does not make automated decisions about visitors with legal or similarly significant effects. The calculator uses fixed mathematical formulas; it assesses neither individuals nor client matters.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us, we process the information you provide to handle your enquiry. For enquiries concerning the initiation or performance of a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies where you are the contracting party. Otherwise, processing may be based on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. External links and client portal

The website links to profiles, sources and the KIIP client portal. You access those services only when you follow a link. Their respective privacy notices describe the processing carried out there. This draft does not describe processing within the client portal.

The customer portal is a separate service. Before use, its privacy information must describe the processing that actually takes place there, including any AI service providers. Statements about this information website are not assurances about processing in the portal.

6. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may withdraw consent with effect for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to processing for direct marketing at any time.

You may also complain to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
